If you have an assigned Code Enforcement Officer to a pre-existing case, please continue to direct your inquiries to that officer. 

If you have a COVID related concern, please direct those concerns to the Department of Environmental Health or the Department of Public Health.​​​

TO SAVE YOU THE TIME OF FILING A FORM WITH THE WRONG JURISDICTION,

please verify that Santa Clara County has Jurisdiction of the property in question. If the property is not located within the unincorporated area of Santa Clara County, a link to each of the 16 cities is available on the Jurisdictions page as well.

You can also find relevant information, such as APN and unincorporated status on a given property using our Property Profile feature.

If you have a concern about a property in the Unincorporated area of Santa Clara County, or feel a code violation exists, you may report your concern via our InSite Web Application.

However, it is best to directly contact the appropriate Office in the Department of Planning and Development that handles the type of issue you are reporting. This way they can use their expertise to ask informed questions for their area of responsibility and more productively investigate your concern.
