Withdrawn General Use Permit Application

    On November 1, 2019, Stanford University submitted a letter to the Director of Planning and Development withdrawing its development application, which includes the General Use Permit (GUP), the Stanford Community Plan amendments, Zoning Map amendments, and the Development Agreement application.

    The County has released the Final Environmental Impact Report (EIR) on the Stanford University 2018 General Use Permit Application. The Final FEIR is divided into two parts. Part 1 is a Consolidated Draft EIR that incorporates all changes made to the original version, including incorporation of additions from the Recirculated Portions of the Draft EIR and edits made either in response to public comments or as staff-initiated changes. Part 2 provides written responses to comments received during the public review periods for the Draft EIR (released October 6, 2017) and Recirculated Portions of Draft EIR (released June 12, 2018). These can be found in Chapters 4 through 6. Chapter 2 of Part 2 contains underline/strike-through revisions to the Draft EIR and Recirculated Portions of Draft EIR to clarify or correct information in those documents.​
