Home Occupation
A home occupation is a minimal-intensity business activity that is incidental to the residential use of a property, generally conducted within a dwelling by resident occupants. Home occupations are normally allowed as a matter of right ("expanded" home occupations require a special permit--see ordinance). While no permit is normally required, a formal interpretation may be requested by filing a home occupation questionnaire.
